Resumen en espa¤ol:En esta investigaci¢n el objetivo principal es dar a conocer y resaltar acerca de la importancia que tiene la cultura de seguridad de pacientes en el manejo de traumas en miembros inferiores, y as¡ poder obtener ¡tems de calidad deseados en el servicio de Radiolog¡a e Im genes Diagn¢sticas.Para este estudio se aplic¢ una encuesta en una I. P. S. con el fin de evaluar los conocimientos que poseen los tecn¢logos en el  rea de radiolog¡a convencional al momento de enfrentar un paciente que presente este tipo de patolog¡a. Se evidenci¢ en los resultados arrojados de la encuesta que hab¡an falencias al momento de manipular el paciente ya que no poseen las bases suficientes debido a la falta de capacitaci¢n por la instituci¢n, ya que de once Tecn¢logos entrevistados solo uno de ellos manifest¢ haber recibido alg£n tipo de capacitaci¢n sobre el manejo de pacientes con trauma.Como resultado final de la investigaci¢n se dise¤¢ un poster el cual fue entregado a una I. P. S. a los Tecn¢logos en el  rea de Radiolog¡a e Im genes Diagnosticas, donde se plasm¢ informaci¢n acerca del adecuado manejo de pacientes con trauma en miembros inferiores y resaltando la importancia de ellos apoy ndose en la calidad del servicio y seguridad del paciente a trav‚s de la intervenci¢n educativa.Resumen en ingl‚s:In this research, the main objective is to introduce and emphasize on the importance of patient safety culture in the management of lower limb trauma, and thereby obtain quality items desired service radiology and diagnostic imaging.For this study a survey was conducted in an I. P. S. in order to assess their current knowledge technologists in the area of conventional radiology when facing a patient with this type of pathology. It was evident in the results obtained from the survey that had shortcomings when handling the patient because they have no sufficient basis due to the lack of training by the institution, as eleven technologists interviewed only one of them reported having received some form training on the management of trauma patients.The end result of the research poster which was delivered to an I. P. S., technologists in the field of Radiology and Diagnostic Imaging, where information will be reflected on the appropriate management of patients with trauma to the lower limbs and highlighting was designed them the importance of relying on service quality and patient safety through an educational intervetion.
