Resumen en Espa¤ol:En la Fundaci¢n Tecnol¢gica Aut¢noma de Bogot  (FABA) se manejan una serie de plataformas institucionales, entre ellas se encuentran las plataformas Alexa, G‚nesis y Master. Alexa es una aplicaci¢n web que tiene como funci¢n facilitar el pr‚stamo de recursos audiovisuales, de aulas para docentes y verificar los estudiantes que se encuentran matriculados en los cursos asignados a cada docente, junto con los horarios y el sal¢n respectivo. G‚nesis es la aplicaci¢n web que permite a los estudiantes inscribir sus materias cada periodo para evitar el cruce de horarios, tambi‚n puede cancelarlas y consultar las materias que cursar  o ya curs¢, tambi‚n puede generar certificados una vez se haya legalizado su matr¡cula acad‚mica. Master es un sistema web para la gesti¢n de horarios a diferencia de G‚nesis este sistema permite verificar la disponibilidad de las aulas, para evitar el cruce de clase, tambi‚n asigna a cada maestro la cantidad de cursos que dar  generando as¡ su n¢mina con la cantidad de horas que laborara. En FABA se ha convertido en una necesidad indispensable el uso de las platafor-mas web para facilitar los procesos de inscripci¢n, verificaci¢n y solicitudes entre otras, que permiten agilizar los tr mites tanto a funcionarios de la instituci¢n como a los estudiantes. A medida que transcurre el tiempo las necesidades se van trans-formando y en internet la iconograf¡a y el dise¤o de aplicaciones se han convertido en una herramienta que facilita la identificaci¢n de las diferentes herramientas que ofrecen cada una de plataformas o aplicaciones dependiendo lo que quiera ofrecer-nos o de lo que se necesita de ella. Al realizar una investigaci¢n sobre la semi¢tica y semiolog¡a se podr  determinar el contexto en el que los signos interact£an para poder definir cu les son necesarios y cu l ser¡a la forma correcta de plasmar estos signos "botones" seg£n las necesidades de la plataforma G‚nesis y c¢mo la interfaz de esta ayudar  en el pro-ceso de visualizaci¢n, usabilidad y funcionalidad. Luego de determinar las variables y recopilar todos los datos sobre las aplicaciones y su contexto, se llevar  a cabo la construcci¢n y maquetaci¢n de lo que ser  el nuevo modelo de la plataforma teniendo en cuenta los cambios que esta requiere para as¡ poder crear un interfaz funcional, efectiva, din mica, practica y eficaz.Resumen en Ingl‚s:In the Technological Autonomous Foundation of Bogota (FABA) they handle a se-ries of institutional platforms, between them there are the platforms Alexa, Genesis and Master. Genesis is the web application that allows to the students to inscribe his matters every period to avoid the crossing schedule, also it can cancel and consult the matters that it will deal them or already it dealed, also it can generate certificates once his academic matriculation has been legalized. Master is a web system for the management of schedules unlike.In FABA there has turned into an indispensable need the use of the web platforms to facilitate the processes of inscription, check and requests between others, which allow to improve the steps both to civil servants of the institution and to the students. As it passes the time the needs are transforming and in Internet the iconography and the design of applications have turned into a tool that facilitates the identification of the different tools that offer each of platforms or applications depending what wants to offer us or of what he needs of her.On having realized an investigation on the semi¢tic and semiology it will be possible determine the context in which the signs interact to be able to define which are necessary and which would be the correct way of forming these signs "buttons" ac-cording to the needs of the platform Genesis and how the interface with this one will help in the process of visualization, usability and functionality. After determining the variables and compiling all the information on the applications and his context, the construction and layout will be carried out of what will be the new model of the platform bearing in mind the changes that this one needs to be able like that to create one functional, effective, dynamic interfaz, he practises and effective.
